Please keep in mind this is a brief overview for the people that are unsaved and are needing an escape from this hell on earth, eternal damnation, and into a life of salvation, for now, and evermore thru Jesus Christ. It is only the bare minimum and a preface to what your local Church will help teach you to get you into the Kingdom of God.

Steps to salvation:

1. Realize you are a sinner and NEED a savior:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. 2. Realize that salvation from hell is a GIFT and God sent His Son to die for our sins

Romans 6:23 …the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

3. You must REPENT (turn away from) your sins

Acts 2:37,38 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent..

4. Confess Jesus Christ

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Here is an often used prayer you can say if you are unsure how to confess Jesus:

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

5. When you do this, in God’s eyes, all things have been erased.

2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

6. You must begin your relationship with God through prayer and studying the Bible. Get into a Church so that you can be stregthened.
